A FIREWISE COMMUNITY

Malibu West has completed the criteria to become a nationally recognized Firewise USA Community.

A Firewise Community is a voluntary recognition program that provides a framework to help neighbors get organized, find direction, and take action to increase the ignition resistance of their homes.

By conducting an assessment, our community has a detailed action plan to make our community safer when disaster strikes.

An added benefit of becoming Firewise is the discount received on your homeowners' insurance. It has a cost savings of 10% per household.
